Background
Dawn was raised in Northern California (Marin County and San Francisco). Her father was a successful general contractor/ developer, and in the 1970s, her parents started Wildwood Natural Foods, one of the largest health food companies. Dawn’s mother spent much of her childhood years at the San Francisco Design Center decorating homes and raising four daughters.
Dawn’s mother and grandmother had a great influence on her. Her grandmother was a professional seamstress and designer in the 1920s, and her mother was an artist and interior designer. She grew up with highly talented and creative role models.
Organic Background
Hip Organic Girl, Dawn Rosenmayr, is very passionate about an organic lifestyle. When her parents started Wildwood Natural Foods, they put all their children on a macrobiotic diet. They also exposed their daughters to yoga, acupuncture, herbs, and meditation. Dawn has seen how this kind of healthy lifestyle can heal even the most serious of ailments.
Dawn has been practicing healthy mind, body, and spirit living for several decades. In addition to her family influence and upbringing, she dated one of the top doctors in alternative medicine. She has spoken with and attended numerous seminars with highly influential doctors, surgeons, naturopaths, and healers. She has experimented with numerous health-related products, and uses all of this knowledge and experience to create a customized healthy-living program for her clients.
Real Estate Broker
In the early 1980s, Dawn followed in her father's footsteps and received her California real estate license. In 1998, she went further and received her real estate broker’s license. During the 1980s and 1990s, she worked in the real estate profession in the exclusive areas of San Francisco, Marin County, Palm Desert, Newport Beach, and Beverly Hills. Dawn not only grew up in one of the most beautiful areas in the world, but she spent 20 years selling beautiful high-end homes! She says, "I think all of my real estate sales paid off. I used to sit for hours even after an open house, memorizing every room and different decors in the house. I'm lucky I have a photographic memory because I have stored all of these rooms/homes inside my head."
Interior Designer
Rosenmayr Interiors was established in 1998 after years of education in business, sales, design, and real estate. Dawn received her degree in interior design from the Interior Designers Institute in Southern California—one of the top design schools in the United States. Before design school, she studied marketing at the University of Colorado. Dawn has established a successful interior design business based in Newport Beach, but works with clients all over California, and even as far away as Chicago and Maui.
